As a documentary photographer, Ruby captures the ever-changing landscape of the world and the people, places and
things that exist within it. Whether it's climbing the rocky terrain of a canyon or the steep icy deck of a superpipe, getting squooshed
in a tiny crowded concert venue, or having just mere moments to take a portrait, Ruby loves every minute of it. Her favorite camera
is the one she has with her, be it her Nikon workhorse, her quirky Lomo or her iPhone, but never leaves home without at least two.

After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania, she took an intro to black and white 35mm darkroom class at Cooper Union
in NYC and never looked back. She continued her studies at the New England School of Photography where she graduated with
Portfolio Honors, Honors in Photojournalism and a minor in Editorial. Her work has appeared in the New York Times, Boston Globe,
Wall Street Journal, Hartford Courant, West Hartford News, Photo District News, Investment News, Harvard Magazine,
The Harvard Gazette, Nature Magazine, and The Next American City.

Based in the NYC area but travels afar,
Ruby is available for editorial work, photojournalistic assignments, portraiture and events.
